As announced here (comments contain profanity), and originally here, “Record label Warner Music has said it will stop licensing its songs to free music streaming services.” Put simply: Warner announced that services like Last.FM are not okay with them. They will be “promoting streaming services that require payment.” I.E: We aren’t making enough, and we want to pump every pennie out of the fans. And they wonder why EMI reported over 2 billion in loss.
Before I go to sleep (very very very tired), I figured I’d bring you three little letters, direct from my heart: W, T, and F. Apparently, You can get arrested for not twittering. Especially if you work for Island records, and they tell you to tweet to tell the crowd at a signing to calm down. And well, if you don’t… Slammer for you! Ridiculous. Just plain ridiculous. Just wow…
I find this odd, shocking, and just plain wow. And let me quantify that: this got me out of bed to read an article, confirm it, and blog it. So yeah…
Tennant of Christianity: God loves all his children, even those who have sinned, and anyone can be redeemed… Right? Well, no. I guess not. According to GodHates F**s.com (fill it in), god apparently hates… F**s. And these people are going to be picketting a concert by All Time Low? Why, again? Apparently All Time Low are so “gay” and “gender confused” that they’re being targetted by the Christians. That’s gotta be bad right?
According to the church in question, “You may be wondering what in the world WBC cares about these losers – so let me break it down for you. How do you know how far gone a society is? You look at their social icons. When you look at these gender-confused, haphazard freakazoids then you can plainly see that america is DOOMED, for real! This is the final generation, and a little concussion is the least of their worries. Praise God! AMEN!” Yeah… Okay.

I was talking to the other dudes in RVR the other day about Halloween, and I asked if it would be disrespectful to dress as Billy Mays… Apparently Not.

Halloween is approaching rapidly and it goes without saying that “deceased celebrities” (and balloon boy) will most likely be a huge theme at every gathering.
There will no doubt be a multitude of people dressed as Billy Mays (or zombie Billy Mays).. it is one of the easiest costumes of all time to put together. (Beard, blue button-down, khakis, prop product, etc..)
So, I’ve decided to hold a little contest for best costume.
Like seriously… Wow. Now I really have to do it. Anyone got some Oxyclean?
